Residence Inn Brownsville

Excellent The ratings for this stay said superb..that amd the price made me choose this one. We have stayed at other places in Brownsville for a higher price it wasn't as mice.

Decent hotel but poor service Called ahead of time to get 2 rooms next to eachother for family, and was told this was fine. Upon arrival, was told this may have been fine earlier in the day but at the time we checked in it could not be done. Also, we were told we could have rooms off the ground floor and away from facing the parking lot, yet these were also unavailable upon arrival. The hotel housekeeping and loud door closing is also very noisy early in the morning and woke us up. The front desk was also unable to accommodate a late checkout even after all of the unfortunate inconveniences, and the staff came to ask multiple times if we were checking out the last day of our stay as if they couldn’t wait to get us out of our rooms. The hotel itself is fine and the breakfast every morning is excellent. After a very long travel day and a stressful trip ahead, it would have been much better if the hotel would’ve kept their word about accommodating the requests prior to arrival. I understand it’s Memorial Day weekend but it’s still Brownsville, a relatively small town, and they should be able to provide good service

Pet fee is way more than other places. Homewood suites just a few down is only 50 n sometimes waived if a member. Only picked here because they have tesla chargers but most of those parking spaces are taken up by the hotels own airport shuttle.
